Hotel Sales Manager

JOB SUMMARY: To selectively qualify, solicit and book profitable group business for Crowne Plaza and Hampton Inn & Suites-Little Rock in specific market segments assigned.   Establish new clients and maintain current client base through direct outside and inside sales, in order to secure business for the hotel.   Excellent communication and negotiation experience required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education –Bachelor’s degree in related field or one year equivalent experience in Sales and Marketing.  Hotel sales experience preferred.                       

Experience –At least one year experience in successful outside sales.

Technical skills – Basic computer skills are essential.  Experience in Delphi, OnQ & Opera a plus.
 
Communication Skills –Strong oral and written communication skills.

Special Requirements Specific to Job –Strong customer services skills.

 Hotel Catering Manager

JOB SUMMARY:   The Catering Manager is responsible for selling and servicing meeting and banquet events at Crowne Plaza & Hampton Inn & Suites. This position works closely with Hotel Sales Managers in contract negotiations and servicing groups as it relates to catering services.  Also responsible for execution of written contracts, banquet event orders and diagrams.  Must be detail oriented and have strong guest relations & communication skills.  Some weekends required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education –Bachelor’s degree in related field or one year equivalent experience in position

Experience –At least one year experience in meeting planning, set-up and execution of meetings preferred

Technical skills – Basic computer skills are essential.  Experience in Delphi, OnQ & Opera a plus.

Communication Skills –Strong oral and written communication skills.
